I've spent most of the past ten years unhappy that my home and car aren't cleaner than they are. Having grown up in a home that was truly SPARKLING clean, I often feel like I'm failing in that area of my life. When I'm beginning to feel too overwhelmed by it all, I seem to be given a glimpse, in some random way, into how some others are living. It helps put things in perspective for me. We parked next to this car at the library. The van door was just left wide open, no one inside. I couldn't resist snapping a photo, a reminder to myself that I'm not doing so bad.
