Boeing Plant Birthday Celebration...

To say that Asher has become obsessed with all things flight is an understatement. The boy spends time reading Scott's flight magazines and my flight manual from my flight lessons and talks about airplanes non-stop. When he wanted to go to the Boeing Plant for his birthday, there was no surprise on our part.

Unfortunately, they don't allow pictures inside the 100 acre building. But to say the least, it was quite a site to see 747's lined up like they were Matchbox cars. We were able to take pictures inside the great museum there, though. As you can see, Asher was in his personal heaven.

Yes, your seat can be used as a flotation device.

After spending most of the day at Boeing, we headed out to the waterfront to see a lighthouse and, of course, throw and skip rocks.

There couldn't have been a more perfect end to such a spectacular day than meeting up with Jed and Sarah for dinner. The weather was perfect, which is not to be looked over when in Seattle, and we strolled around the waterfront.

Asher got to try out the Captain's seat on the plane we flew home on. When we got home, he opened his presents which included a set to practice hitting a baseball with, bat, and batting glove. Then birthday cake at dinner at Sunday dinner at Grandma's house. I'd say a pretty perfect seventh birthday.
