The Annual Palisade Family Reunion had a lot of the usual activity - swimming, catching minnows, golfing, eating at the hamburger joint in Ephraim, sudden rain storms that nearly blow tents away, crafts, kayaking, and the cousins entertaining each other. Some things that were new this year is the kids took a group golf lesson and actually played on the course instead of just hitting at the driving range, the jukebox at the hamburger joint was broken- so no dance party, and a walking geocache hunt with a GPS.

Jeremy and Emily needed to leave a day early. That next day with 4 less kids (3 of which are girls that are crying on a very regular basis) it was much quieter around camp. Eli, Grandma, and I were at the picnic table playing cards. A little girl at the campsite next to us started to cry and Eli said, "Well, at least they're here to make us feel at home." Yep, we're glad we had a crying neighbor to help us miss the girl cousins less.
