The Last Hurrah...

The week before school started, we decided to head up into the cool mountains and stay at Snowbird.  It was more than a hit with the boys.

Scott and I are both looking forward to Asher being old enough
to ride on the slide alone.  Those sleds were not make for two,
even if one of them is preschooler.

Asher loved "the flying thing."  He was flapping his
arms, repeating over and over, "I'm flying!"  It reminded me
of the movie What About Bob where Bill Murray was saying,
"I'm sailing! I'm saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiling!"

The Alpine Slide was more than a hit!  Oakley went down over 50
times the two days we were there.  Eli started out nervous about it,
but by day 2 was coming down at warp speeds.

Scott and I on the Zip Line.  Our young photographer did his best
taking a picture.

At the top of the mountain, where there were still patches of snow
to be seen this late in the year.  The view was spectacular.

The look of utter and complete joy- Oakley couldn't get enough of the Alpine Slide.
We were fortunate to be there during the week and when most schools were already in session.
We rarely stood in line and the boys were round and round on the slide and chairlift.

Scott displaying his manliness on the mechanical bull.
I was quite impressed with how long he stayed on top of that thing.
