Thoughtful Eli came through once again this Christmas. After I opened Eli's gift, Scott told me how explicit Eli had been about buying me a "glass bird" this year. They had spent quite a bit of time online trying to find exactly what he was looking for. When they found this figurine, Eli immediately exclaimed this was the one. Why he wanted to specifically give me a glass bird, he couldn't really explain. But I will keep this figure of a mother and child glass bird on my dresser as long as I live.
